WAvNA’s next Happy Hour is October 22nd at Cara Mia Trattoria on Alton Road.  We’d love to see you there enjoying free appetizers and 1/2 priced drinks as well as the company of friends and neighbors. Commissioners Weithorn and Libbin will be attending.

The restaurant is relatively new to the neighborhood but the owner is an old hand at running restaurants, serving good food, made fresh daily, and creating a convivial atmosphere. Rico Malta owned several well-known restaurants in New York City.  His motto is “Si mangia bene, si paga poco.” One eats well, one pays little.  He shared a video of the restaurant.
